ELEOS – PACKHOUSE COOLSTORE AND ADMINISTRATION

The Marra Group built the $4.4 million project at Rangiuru Road, Te Puke during 2001-2003 seasons.

This project was undertaken both on Tender and Design Build Basis. The facility was an extension to the existing, built in stages to suit the needs of the client

THE ELEOS/MARRA RELATIONSHIP ENSURED COMPLETION ON TIME
The project consisted of numerous work faces including extensions to coolstores, canopies, packhouse, administration and hardstands. This required very careful planning and methodology. Each separate area was generally built within programme. The Client/Contractor team relationship greatly assisted programming and completion

LARGEST FREE SPAN BUILDING (80M) IN NZ.
The Major works included a fully Designed and Built Packhouse facility of 6000m2 having a clear span of 80m, the largest clear span building of this type in NZ. This area enabled Eleos to have flexibility in the set out of grading machines and other packhouse equipment and for versatility in future.
