Marra has continued to do repeat work for this client who is a primary player in the kiwi fruit and avocado packaging industry.
Prior to the commencement of the 2006 packing season, Marra was commissioned to design and build extensions to the pack house and to provide new administration facilities.
The facilities were constructed on a fast track programme to ensure that they were operational for the March 2006 start of the packing season.

The project commenced at the beginning of December 2005 and was completed in two stages with the packhouse becoming operational at the end of February 2006 and the administration facilities completed by the first week of April. Project crews worked through the traditional "Christmas break" to ensure that the extremely tight time frame was met.
