Marra won this major factory expansion project on an invited tender basis, at the end of 2008 and remain on track to complete the work before October 2009.

The logistics of this project required close co-operation with the factory management to ensure that the 24 hour operation continued to operate with no disruption. At times this has proven challenging however we believe that the most difficult times are now over as we are "out of the ground" and the structure is progressing well.Â

Our knowledge of the area (the site is some 750m from our Head Office as the crow flies) helped over come the difficult ground conditions with extensive in ground water, multiple fresh water springs, soft spongy layers of fill and the remnants of a dump site all encountered. We even uncovered a ships anchor believed to be some 60years old!!
