CAPRIS ON PILOT BAY
This $3.5 million, 30 unit apartment complex is situated in the Mount Maunganui area. It was constructed in 1999 for Auckland Developers Newcrest Holdings, and due to all the apartments being presold they established an inflexible and tight project duration. However through innovative construction techniques and excellent on site management the project was completed on time.
The three separate buildings, each consisting of 3 levels, utilised the full site area and resulted in a congested site requiring careful planning and management. At its busiest, the project had around 90 tradesmen on site.
