BETHLEHEM SHOPPING CENTRE

Financial and investment institution AMP identified the Bethlehem area as the next growth node necessitating a decent sized retail outlet development. Greenstone Group was tasked as the project managers to identify potential construction companies with the ability to build a project with an initial budget of over $15 million with an additional $1.5 million in fitout work.

Marra Construction was the successful tenderer from the three short-listed companies and commenced work in October 2006.

This project was completed with a soft opening on Labour weekend 2007.

The project is a mix of precast concrete, timber paneling and sheet metal cladding. Covering a site area of approx 5 hectares, the end result is a development of some 65 retail outlets, with over 1000 carparks.
