HYNDS PIPE SYSTEMS

Marra completed this $900,000.00 project for this national company in 2006 as a Design and Build Turnkey operation. The challenge was to design and construct a "normal" commercial / industrial project with a different look which was achieved by placing emphasis on the entrance to the building.

Construction methodologies including precast concrete tilt slabs, aluminium joinery, horizontal cladding and express jointed titan board.

Whilst the project size and scope was not considered difficult as this was only a 620m2 warehouse and 320m2 of administration on two levels, one of the main site challenges was an extremely restricted building area as the business continued to operate whilst the building works were underway. This meant that the client's daily operation with truck deliveries and clients uplifting products had to be carefully co-ordinated with the construction operation.
